Main Duties: - General subsea engineering and support to Lead Subsea Engineer. - Design of piping for subsea structures as directed by the Subsea Engineer - Implement interface requirements for subsea structures as directed by the Subsea Project Engineer 2) System Engineer ( 4 years or more) Principle objective: To provide systems engineering support to the project team for the project subsea systems Main duties: - Liaise with AMEC system engineer to ensure systems issues have input from the relevant discipline engineers - Coordinate subsea system activities and requirements within the project team - Attend system engineering meetings and ensure that system issues are relayed to the engineering engineer and leads - Develop and maintain a database of system documents relevant to the subsea scope - Monitor topside system engineering development with regard to development of topside P&IDs and system overall PFDs, system schematics, operating philosophies/ procedures for start-up, shutdown and restart - Monitor client SPS system engineering development with regard to subsea system P&IDs and infield drill centre and subsea architecture - Liaise with subsea team and client SPS regarding development of operability registers and matrices - Develop and maintain a database of system issues related to subsea scope - Ensure that system interface are fully identified in the WIR system and liaise with interface team to monitor progress to resolution. - Provide systems input to project progress reports, including reporting on status of close out system actions. 3)Lead Subsea Engineer Principle objective: Coordinate subsea engineering activities between Owner Subsea Team, contractors SPS Subsea Team and contractors GEP Team and manage umbilical design, geotechnical and pre-commissioning/ commissioning sub-consultant. Main Duties: - Interface with key stakeholders and other groups within the project - Support the Package Manager/Leads in the pre qualification, tender preparation, evaluation and recommendation process - Maintain awareness and appreciation of project commitments for activities associated with the project. - Provide input to systems design, determine number, type and location of valves. - Supply specialist subsea assistance/support in the development of the base case for subsea field architecture - Manage pre-commissioning/ commissioning engineers - Support the Engineering manager in the preparation of weekly and monthly reports and presentations on project progress. - Coordinate and supervise the subsea and umbilical project teams on day to day basis. - Coordinate development of the subsea structures with day to day support of the URF project engineer - Ensure that the objectives for the project team assigned by the Engineering Manager are implemented - Monitor resources required for successful execution of the subsea and pre-commissioning work scope and notify the Engineering Manager of all requirements. - Take responsibility for the correctness and quality of technical works executed Additional information: - Contract duration – 1 year with option for renewal . Project duration is approx. 2 ½ years so there is likelihood of extension. - Family status . - Home passage – Standard contract terms in Australia, are annual leave with air tickets to point of origin/home base. - Taxation – Australian Tax will be deducted from salary.
